Building Commissioning Services
Our project performance team serves as a protective umbrella across all phases of your build.
We’re sticklers for the smallest details.
Today’s high-performance buildings rely on integrated systems that must function properly to meet operational and performance requirements. Through building commissioning (Cx), our Project Performance Team gives owners confidence that their building systems have been designed and installed to deliver these requirements.
Benefits of Building Commissioning
Peak Performance: We guarantee that your new HVAC and lighting systems, along with building controls, operate just as they were designed.
Boosted Energy Efficiency: Your building's performance and efficiency hinge largely on how your HVAC system and its controls operate. In the commissioning process, our Project Performance Team validates energy efficiency through M&V to ensure peak performance in alignment with International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) protocols.
Optimal Comfort Levels: Your HVAC system has the critical role of maintaining your building's internal comfort conditions, including temperature and humidity levels. Our Project Performance Team diligently assesses these conditions and makes necessary adjustments to ensure optimal comfort.
Empowering Your Building Personnel: A crucial part of our commissioning process is educating building personnel on the correct operation and maintenance of new systems and controls. This proactive measure ensures your systems continue to operate efficiently in the long run.
Adherence to Regulatory and Safety Requirements: Compliance with local building codes and safety regulations is not an option; it's a necessity. Our Project Performance Team verifies that your newly installed systems meet all codes. regulations, and standards.
Meet Kevin Player, CBCP
Kevin leads both Commissioning and Measurement & Verification programs for Millig Design Build. With 15 years of experience in testing, verifying, and troubleshooting electronic and HVAC systems, Kevin emphasizes the importance of quality assurance and can develop processes to improve the likelihood of a quality outcome. Kevin also understands a quality system can quickly degrade without educating and training the owner’s team to operate and maintain it. That’s why he provides support and hands-on training to facilities operations staff as part of his services.
Meet Anthony Borsellino
