Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Revit Modeler
ANTICIPATED COMPENSATION: $60k - $85k (including base salary and bonuses)
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Millig Design Build is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Revit Modeler specializing in MEP building systems to join our dynamic team. As a crucial member of our design and engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in creating accurate and efficient models for a range of projects.
This candidate will work on a team with some of the best engineers in the country and support designing systems to make buildings healthier, safer, and more energy efficient. Our clients include major universities, international pharmaceutical manufacturers, state governments, counties, and school districts.
Travel may be required on an infrequent basis. We are flexible on your work setting, accommodating a hybrid work-at-home and in-office schedule. Millig is open to hiring candidates based in various locations, including Colorado, Kansas, Washington, and Oregon.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Model Development: create, modify, and maintain MEP/Architectural Revit models
Collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to coordinate and integrate MEP systems within overall building designs
Conduct thorough quality checks and reviews of models to ensure compliance with design standards and project specifications
Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation from the Revit models, providing comprehensive and clear information for construction and installation purposes
Stay updated with the latest Revit software developments and industry trends, implementing best practices and efficiency enhancements into the modeling process. Train and help others with models. Improve Revit templates and workflows
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Proficient experience in using Revit software for MEP modeling, with a strong understanding of building systems and construction practices. Strong ability to read and understand blueprints
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
3+ years experience with Revit modeling
Previous experience in MEP/ architectural design or construction is highly desirable
Associate of Applied Science degree. Autodesk certification is a plus.
